Dr. Ashok Gupta is a Laparoscopic Surgeon with a successful career stint of more than 25 years. He received his M.B.B.S degree in 1983 and M.S in General Surgery in 1987 from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur. He laid the foundation of his career at GSVM Medical College under Prof. Tara Chand - a renowned surgeon.

Trained in Advanced Laproscopic Surgery under general and laparoscopic surgeon Dr. Mohan Chellape of Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore and Dr. Leonard Shults of USA, Dr. Ashok Gupta has performed many laparoscopic surgeries.

He has also received hands on training in Robotic Surgery at Fortis Escorts hospital, New Delhi.
Since more than two decades, he has been in private practice and Is presently associated with Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital (previously named GM Modi Hospital) as Senior Consultant in the department of GI & MAS surgery.

He has previously been associated with Fortis Healthcare and Apollo Hospitals.
